Glynn, Helen, and GGS: A Journey in the Industry

With 40 years in the industry, Glynn began his career as a British Gas apprentice at the age of 16, specialising in commercial work. He played a pivotal role in leading an employee buyout of Gasforce after British Gas’s commercial division closed in 1996, eventually setting up his independent venture in 2004.

In 2006, Glynn took on his first apprentice, Carl, and expanded the business over time, adding a team of five engineers and office staff. Despite his untimely passing in 2017, Glynn’s legacy endures through the company, embodying his commitment to quality and service.

Glynn’s legacy lives on under the capable leadership of his wife, Helen. Her journey began as a stonemason at Canterbury Cathedral before embarking on an 18-month travel adventure. Upon her return to the UK and while raising two lovely daughters, Helen dedicated her time as a teaching assistant in a school. In 2006, she joined GGS, initially enticed by the promise of working just a few hours a day. Helen’s dedication and valuable contributions continue Glynn’s commitment to providing exceptional service.

The future of GGS is steered by Helen, Adam and their dedicated team. They anticipate further growth, providing their clients with steadfast commitment, and ensuring that the legacy of quality and reliability continues to flourish.
